Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller wrote their own vows for their wedding. Instead of getting all lovey-dovey they each decided to write vows that promised to improve their annoying habits.
The groom kicked it off with promises to “organize less and listen more,” “quit breaking a hug too soon,” and “mute the ball game when Brooke says, this is a matter of life and death,” among others.
This week’s National Enquirer claims that Queen Latifah plans to marry her partner of five years, personal trainer Jeannette Jenkins, after the groundbreaking ruling in California that legalized same-sex marriages. Let’s say right off, that these 2 have never confirmed their relationship. Jeanette Jenkins is the founder and president of the Hollywood Trainer fitness company and also the host of Lifetime Television’s “My Workout:Powered by Podfitness.com”, and appeared on Fear Factor, and won 50,000.00.
Rumors were flying in December 2007 that Latifah and Jeanette, were engaged (here) but it was never confirmed or denied. Latifah has been notoriously tight-lipped about her relationship with Jenkins, and told Ebony Magazine in Sept.
Keira Knightley is set to play Eliza Doolittle in a film remake of the musical My Fair Lady and Daniel Day-Lewis, is being sought to star along with her.
Knightley the star of Atonement, Pride and Prejudice and the Pirates of the Caribbean films, has already signed up to the project and has begun singing lessons.
Meanwhile the producers of the film have reportedly put Day-Lewis, the double Oscar-winning star of There Will Be Blood and My Left Foot, at the top of their wish list of actors to play opposite her as Henry Higgins.
They are convinced that the star would be perfect as the pig-headed chauvinist who falls for the flower seller he plucks from the gutter.
Until recently, the idea of Day-Lewis in a musical would have been unthinkable. But the actor is also in talks to star alongside Nicole Kidman in a film version of the musical Nine.
Miley Cyrus and Mandy Jiroux have a new video coming out soon, in which they PROMISE that they are going to stomp the Adam/Chu Dance Crew (ACDC). The video is coming out June 10, so be watching! I’ll admit that I am now obsessed with this nonsense, the “biggest online dance battle in YouTube history.” The first Miley and Mandy (M&M Dance Cru) video was pretty good…they had a whole choreographed number to Madonna’s “4 Minutes” and even recruited Channing Tatum from Step Up 2, ironically directed by Jon M. Chu.
But ACDC was not to be outdone, so they pulled out all the stops and recruited the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Chris Brown, Diana Ross, and Adam Sandler. This has now surpassed YouTube and is becoming a pop culture phenomenon. ACDC was asked to perform at Ellen Degeneres’ 50th birthday bash, and the online battle was even spoofed recently by Mike Myers at the MTV Movie Awards.
On an interview on CNBC Europe TV, Cameron Diaz was burping and getting applause from the audience. She took a drink and burped like an old lady and made fun of it. She seems to love everybody making fun of her.
